Just changed my pads...
I just changed my brembo pads to some hawks last night. Wasn’t a very hard process but with to many beers it could be
Anyways, I still notice quite a bit of dust with these pads but I guess there really isn’t much I could do.
I am not noticing that when I start in first I hear a click from the passenger rear. When I let go of the gas I hear it click again. Is this part of the TSB I have been reading about or something I did wrong with my brakes? I put all the pins back and wheel on tight I checked it all.
Thanks for your help

my car was making that annoying *** sound and i was getting an oil change and they said that it was a loose hub like he said ^ there. they just tighten and i was good to go. (if the wheel is on its behind the centercap that thing is the hub that he was talking about)
so you're saying that even with hawk pads there is still a lot of dust? I've heard phrases like "virtually no dust".... would u say that is true? I'm hoping for a BIG difference in dust reduction if i'm going to fork out 200 bucks on some pads..

No it seems to be better now. The first drive I took I was pretty hard on the breaks. It is a significant different from the Hawk to the stock pads in regards to the dust. Now for some reason my rotors dont look right, I am bring the car by the dealer next week for something so I am going to have them check it out. I think they just have to wear evenly.

illusiveg35c,
you mentioned you are hearing a clicking sound after you installed the pads. how did you jack up your car? the whole front at once lifting both front tires off the ground? or one corner at a time?

just that when i changed my pads (dust issues) when my car was a few months old i jacked up each corner at a time to do it. and right after i had the ratchet clicking sound coming from the right rear axle / hub. so i figured jacking the car up one corner at a time caused the hub to loosen. i brought the car to the dealer and they tightened the hub (i did not tell them that i changed my pads!).
