Like I said, must be some hell of brake dust to make it Black! Who needs Black Powder Coat as long as you have Brake Dust!

Mine on my '04 were silver looking, but did have some spots that couldn't be reached that got black, do you clean the inside of your wheels? I always did and flushed the brake dust everytime I washed my car.

i clean the car pretty thoroughly, but i never thought the calipers were the wrong color. Ill take the wheels off and try it again. are the rears suppose to be silver too?

Well. it's more of a cast metal color than silver, did you buy the car new?

car was used. so who knows if the person before hand every really cleaned it. and my calipers are nowhere near that silver. they look BLACK. ill take pics tomorrow in teh daylight of them

i was too lazy to get the camera, but i walked by it today before i took the altima to get washed, and the brakes on the G are Black, not a hint of silver anywhere

I got dust problem even with Axxis pads and Xdrilled rotors. Gotta try Hawk next time. It is annoying.

A good way to clean the brake dust off of wheels is to use one of those Swiffer or other electrostatic sheets. As long as the wheels haven't gotten wet (from rain or puddles), the dust comes off easily.
