brake caliper

hay guys i just had a quick question. i painted my brake calipers red like a year ago and now they are gettign on my nerves cuz they get really dirty with the brake dust( yes i have a 04 and under the cheap brake pad warranty) i want to reapint it to black and i wanted to know will REPAINTING make any problems what so ever.

Brake Calipar in Black....

I don't see why you would have a problem as long as you clean the $hit out
of them prior to repainting. Just like you had to when you originaly painted
them. Have fun...... Don't you just really love that ...... brake dust?
Now might be a good time to switch to Hawk street pads with lower dust.

that is exactly what I did. the second time around i just painted a few layers over the original coat. no problems whatsoever.
