I had just taken my brakes to the dealer a few months back and they said my pads still had over 5mm so they won't replace them for me... however as of late the squeaking has been REALLY REALLY annoying, it's gotten so bad and loud!!

What do you guys suggest? Should I attempt to take it to teh dealership one more time? They haven't been helpful... or should I invest in some aftermarket pads? Perhaps new rotors? Please advise

 

aftermarket pads wont totally remove the sound but it will reduce it dramatically. I would get aftermarket pads anyways ... do u have brembos?

even non-brembo's i would still get aftermarket pads.

 

Haha, thanks guys, my question is this, could it be my ROTORS? I mean, is there a reason why the dealership is telling me that there is padding that wouldn't warrant a replacement and yet I am still hearing MASSIVE screeching when I brake?

 

what aftermarket pads do you guys go with for the brembos?

 

don't the high-performance brakes from the 05 generally squeek more on colder temps?
