Replacement Shocks

I have a 2003 G35 sedan with 33k on it. I have recently noticed that the OEM shocks are starting to go bad. So far, I can only tell when I go over a really big rise at speed, like the crown in the middle of a road crossing at about 60 mph. Have any of the forum members replaced shocks and if so, what make/model did you go with? Did you R/R them yourself or pay a shop to replace them for you?

If your just replacing the shocks i'd go with Tokico D-Spec shocks.

Think you'll find shocks are a wear item and until they leak they are not covered. Even though by 33k they can be considerably worn and low in rebound stiffness. Most last for 60k with oem springs.

do you guys know with the Dspec shocks, if using 350z stock springs, would give you more of a drop than the h-tech 350z springs for a sedan?

well lets see... If the H-tech lowers a Z then it would lower a sedan more then the stock Z springs.
