I don't think you'll be able to compare any other strut bar to Scott's. Although it's not as bling as a Carbing, Cusco, or any other JDM name, Scott's strut bar was developed very well.

The majority of what I've put into my G so far has been about improving handling and steering response, and this strut bar has been the best I've had on my car so far... I think the only improvement that can be made to any strut bar would be to make it a true three point, but the way this one mounts to your engine bay, it seems and feels about as good as having a front strut bar and fender braces, which is the next best thing to a true three point front strut bar.

And if you look to the beginning of this thread, I was actually questioning the design until I put one in my car.

You need new mechanics... not trying to be an *ss, but I'm sure that's what most people are thinking when they see your post.

A STRONG +1 here. As I have been saying right along. IMHO, this STB is the only one that really does what it's suppossed to do. Scott did the "G" community a real service when he designed this. Let's hope it's still available.

They aren't VRT anymore... they were Scott's design when he was working there, and have been sold through different names including GT Spec over time. I'd hit up Hero for more info.

Now that I'm out of school, I will have more time to get this set up with Scott.

Not quite true. None have been made for a while, but that isn't to say Scott has completely ceased production.

You're an idiot. VRT is out of business. Scott left VRT after being masively screwed over and took VRT's best mech. He is still dealing with all of the drama in conducting his business as a fallout from being associated with VRT. Idiots like you that think RA is VRT are still causing the poor guy a lot of headaches.

Calvin, if you can connect me with him, I'd like to find out if I can have one made for me too.

After hearing all the good things about this bar, how could I resist grabbing one for myself?

I don't see any in the classified section

^ I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news: a group buy for a last run production of these bars started a couple of months ago... unfortunately, the group buy is closed, as the bars are in production right now. To my knowledge (which could definitely be wrong), Scott will not be making these bars anymore. Your best bet is to get lucky and find someone selling his/hers.

From my understanding, I was under the impression that the group buy was not able to get the needed 10 or more people in time to get the braces for $450, not that it is too late to order a RA STB for your car. I don't think it is too late to get a brace, just too late for the discount. Not sure why any of you just don't contact Scott at RA directly by phone with any questions, he always seems available if and when I have a question?

tiguy99, call Scott at 619-654-3585 and maybe you can get a strut tower brace made for your car still.
