LOL, 5 years revival. But good for me. I am thinking lowering my 2004 coupe about 1". If I go with Tein Basic, do I need to get camper kit for both front and rear? and Toe bolts?

If all you go is 1", you really don't need to, but you will still get some tire wear on the inside. If you want it perfect, yes.

BTW, I think the Teins will give you 1.5", not 1".

There has been mixed reviews some people say if you drop just 1" or less that they dont need a camber kit but to be on the safe side you should just get both the front and rear kit and call it a day

I dropped my '05 coupe on the Tanabe NF210 (1" front, .7" rear), and after two years, I ended up having to get camber kits for the front and back. Rear tires wore out really bad on the insides. I'm thinking about just going with coilovers in the near future. So Tein basics is the way to go?

Isn't coilover is adjustable?? I think the front drops range is .7" - 2.6"?

How's ride comfort quality from the NF210 compare to the OEM springs?

I had my springs installed not too long after I got the car, so I don't remember how the ride was with OEM. The Tanabes ride pretty good to me, though. Not too stiff, not too soft (pause). The handling is better than stock of course, and is even better with the strut tower brace, sway bars, and camber kits. I'd recommend them if you want a moderate drop without going too low and having a crappy ride.

I want to lower my car ~1" without having to sacrifing too much of the ride quality. The OEM is not bad at all except when turning at 40km/h or over. The car seems to be floaty in hard cornering.

Would you able to provide me with link to your setup? to the tower brace, sway and camber kit (front/rear?).

I am on a budget. So I am thinking swapping springs only and keep the OEM struts.

With OEM strut, which gives the best result? (minimal decrease in ride quality and better cornering)

Tein S-Tech for G?
Tein H-Tech for Z?
Tanabe NF210?

I don't wanna bottle out my struts, which is the best bet?

Tanabe NF210
GT Spec front strut tower brace
Hotchkis sway bars
SPC front and rear camber kits
