05 Brake Pads

Anyone had to replace their 05 brake pads yet?

Anyone know how much the OE pads cost? Are there any other options?
always seems to be so little info out there for the 05 brakes... or i'm looking in the wrong places....

thanks in advance

I ordered some for my 05 to have a backup for the track. But at 20k of miles and checking my pads this weekend I have over 50% life left on front and rear on the originals.

Everythingg35.com was the cheapest from Justin for the pads. The fronts were around 45-48~, and the rears around $30 bucks.

Brakes got to hot so you have uneven surfaces on the rotor. Basically material that transfered from the pad to the rotor that won't come off without the rotor being resurfaced. (some people call it rotor warpage when the rotor isn't warped).

Aftermarket pads could help prevent this, but there aren't any made at this time for the 05+.

Rotor runout would cause that vibrating sensation you are experiencing. Essentially you have a thickness variation on the surface of the rotor.
