If it was a bushing issue, loosening up the shock to near a stock ride should eliminate any extra stress on the bushing - unles we're damaging the bushing on the install. Easiest way to troubleshoot would be to put the stock shock back in.

I put the OEM shocks back in the rear. I still get the noise, not as much as with the Tokico's, but the noise is still there.

I'm having this problem on front passenger side. Is it the struts or did someone find out otherwise what is causing the sound. I just had my D-specs put on this past Sunday. Please help!!!!

Yeah, I know I'm resurrecting a dead thread... but I was planning on buying D-specs when I stumbled across this. Has anyone's problems been resolved? Is Tokico to be trusted?

my DSP7s are fine..the only rattling I have are from the rear extensions that shake against the child seat latch cover when going over bumps, haha.

I also have same problem after 1 week of install on front driver side. The knocking sounds like somethings gonna fall off. Its back in the shop that installed it, will let others know if theres a good resolution, after I get it back.

after removal of shock. The shock is blown. Not under warranty, due to installation error. Replacement of tokico shock $125.

Commented by tokico as installation error, but from my inspection, there was no installation error, if it was installation error, both of the fron ones would of blown. Will call tokico back and b!tch and see what happens.

Contact at Tokico (310)357-2220 Ray @ ext.3516. Ray states that it must go back to the shop you bought it from and they have to send it in for replacement. You can not take it into Tokico in Compton, CA. Tokico dose inspections once a week. If you can't afford downtime, must purchase new one and get reimbursed when verified a defect.

All shops and tokico automatically assume its installation error, so nobody will give replacement for free. Must purchase replacement. All I know is, if you got knocking noise, its gonna cost you.
