Finally got my sway bars on...thanks to 2visionracingl! didnt think the X had sways that fit. 2vision n Cusco was pretty adamant that they would fit.

only prob is the front sits very low...almost 4" off the ground. can anybody w/ theys sways confirm that it suppose to sit this low.

so far car feels reel tight...handling is lot better. almost like driving a bimmer

Just so I'm clear...you put a set of cusco sway bars on your G35x, and now it sits lower then before?

What part numbers/application did you get these for? The 350Z?

In general, the sway bar should have no effect on the ride height. It's only concerned about difference in height between the two sides. However, it's possible that there is some interference that's causing it to sit lower, but that should be pretty apparent (loud clunks over bumps/etc.)

More details please-

Clarification...its not the car sitting lower, but the front Cusco bar sits low. It actually hangs down from undercarriage and is about 4 inches above the ground.

I actually got word from Cusco its not suppose be that way. Which is what I told the shop since there isnt any sways for the X. I justed wanted the rear. We're trying to send Cusco my stock front bar to have them fabricate it....

well i'll keep dreeeamin..

They should sit at the same level as the OEM ones! My Stillen bars are in the exact same location as the OEM ones.

Curious, we didn't know that the X uses a different front suspension then the other RWD varient's of the FM platform? I looked at the front bar on the X on the car's intro knew then that is was different. Best bet is to pull the bar and send the oem piece to sannerprefab and have them make a copy.

You don't need to upgrade sway bar in the front for the X. The stock one is really big, just get the rear adjustable sway bar, richie front strut bar, and a set of G35 coupe sport model springs and rear shocks. I think you will be happy with this set up.

I only have richie front strut bar and eibach rear adj. sway bar on my car. With just this two mods the car sure feel better. I can take coners faster and over all the car feel more solid. I also like to drop my X before I'm getting some 19" rims this summer. I'm thinking of doing 350z springs in front and coupe springs in the back or I might go with coupe springs all around to get just 1" drop all around and still have good ride quality. As soon all of the snow are gone here in Minnesota I will drop the X.

Having driven and tested rear bar only modding, I conclusively cannot agree that it is a good idea, quite the opposite. And what your recommending above is to also add in 25% stiffer springs and greater rear shock stiffness, two additional things I do not agree would be a positive experience.
