another sedan suspension ?
I have a situation...I have an 06 sedan with sport package. I added J8 Pro's, 10" wide rear wheels, and will probably have the fenders professionally rolled to minimize rubbing because the tires are rubbing when I have passengers. I also have about 200 lbs of stereo equipment in the trunk which seems to have lowered the car about 1/2" already. I have sway bars too (helps some). This is obviously not a track car, but I do some "spirited" driving on the streets.
I'm looking for a setup that will actually raise the rear about 1/2" if possible. I want to lower the front and that doesn't seem to be a problem. Anyone have any suggestions? Will a coilover set with stiffer springs rate help?

Post more info on your wheel/tire set up so we can better help you. If you had the right offsets and tires on the 10" you would not rub with or without a heavy load in the rear.

I'll have to check on the wheel offset & tire size. I'll post that info later, I didn't think it was pertinent because the wheels are already on and rubbing. I'm looking for a solution for this. I tried searching for energy suspension spacer and X springs. I will have to go through a stack of posts to find any info. The search engine is not that helpful. Any info or links to sites supporting the suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
That's definitely an interesting setup you are running.
The best option is to go with a height adjustable coilover suspension from a reputable company.
With a height adjustable suspension you will not only have the ability to set the height, but the important ability to properly balance the weight distribution of the car. If you have a facility in your area that can perform corner balancing, you can still have a G that handles well, even with all of the extra equipment in the back.
Most adjustable coilover suspensions have higher spring rates, which may be suitable for the extra weight and shorter suspension travel of your setup. With all of that extra weight, you are going to make the rear dampers do a lot more work, and they will be more prone to failing.
Mixing and matching springs for front to rear to balance the ride height might have undesireable results while driving.
Adjustable coilovers aren't the cheapest option, but they are probably the smartest way to handle your needs with the least amount of hassle down the road.

For your intended purpose, I doubt that coilovers will work as they won't allow you to retain stock (or higher than stock) height. See this thread for more info, and a link to the energy spacers: https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...pension+spacer
