I actually need some real advice from the rim guys....

I really want honest advice on this...I am going with 22inch rims all around on my G35 Coupe. I wanted to know if a 22x9.5 all around would fit. I believe the offset is 35. Also, will I clear the strut up front; I am going with a 245/30/22 stretched across the 9.5 inch rim so I think the stretch would clear(probably 265/30/22 in rear), I just want to know what the rim pro's think especially about the 9.5 inch width up front. Please let me know, thanks!

(also, 22s have been done before so i know they fit, just the widths and other specs is what im concerned with, check the pic below...)

i actually would llike somebdy who knows what their talking about to help me out with some info for the G. it would really help me out; the forums are for people with a common interest to communicate and nobody really has been of any use so far...

i used to have a 95 mustang GT convertible(last year of the 5liter v8), and i would have convos at the side of the road with other stang owners regularly...people with G's are nice but im sorry to say not the same.

Dude, as long as you maintain the offset range that fits the coupe, the wheels should fit fine, the issue you're going to run into is the overall diameter of the wheel/tire package. 22s are huge and the sidewall will be very small, like a 15, don't even know if they make it that small, if they do, they'll be $$$. Plus with such an increase, you will have some camber and toe issues to deal with as well, hopefully you already have the suspension part of the deal to accomodate the huge increase in the wheels.

If he is increasing the overall diameter, it will create more positive camber so the wheels will look like / and will eventually start wearing out the outer part of it. Hope that makes sense, think i explained it right.

22" in front with 35mm offset will NOT fit.
Best,
Chris
