Thanks.

soundmike,

I apologize for the late reply. We will honor a free shipping promotion for your order as it was missed.

I will add you to the list with a slotted finish.

Thank You.

Clint, I need rears & don't really want to order OEM.
Any chance for OE replacement rears? (slotted)

Once we get 10 orders for the front we will then evaluate the rear. Most likely we will also offer two piece rear with the same finish.

We are also working with Hawk to make thier performance pads available for Akebono calipers:
D1346 / HB601x.626 for the front; and D1347 / HB602x.454 for the rear. They will be offered to forum members at discounted prices.

I am sure you guys understand that these rotors only work with Akebono calipers, so for G37S owners they are just a bolt on upgrades, but for those G35 drivers you must make sure you can purchase these Akebono calipers before commit to orders - just a word of caution.

Does anyone know the vender sells Akebono kits are actually shipping the caliper sets.

Good note. And for anyone wanting to piece the kit together themselves, i've gathered the part #'s as well. Your best bet for affordable places to source them are either Parts.com or InfinitiPartsUSA.com

Can we still use the OEM Akebono pads with these rotors? (I'm sure you can... but just had to ask).

I'll definitely be interested in a matching set for the rears once we get the fronts going.

Rick at Riverside Infiniti is probably the best vendor to get the Akebono calipers from. He's a forum sponsor on here and offers by far the best pricing on these items to G35Driver forum members. He also carries the Stop Tech rotors to go along with them, so you may want to contact him about handling your new rotors. You may even be able to get him to preorder a couple of sets. You can PM him on here, but the best way to reach him is at 800-919-8130. Just tell him Adrian sent you.

I doubt that these rotors with cause any fitment issues with the stock pads, but if your going to upgrade to these rotors, why not upgrade the pads at the same time?

Cuz I have pads left and I'd like to run them out first... or I'll just use the oem rotors until i've used all the pads. haha

I was thinking of getting some P-Mu pads tho'...

Hehe.. I understand. The Akebono's I'm putting on my car only have about 6K miles on them, but I just figure while I've got everything off the car and I'm upgrading the rotors, then mine as well upgrade the pads too. Whichever way you decide to go, I'm sure these rotors will be a huge improvement over the stock ones.

That's my biggest reason why I'm considering this. I've added so much unsprung weight since I put 20" wheels/tires and BBK... I hope this will make a huge difference for me.
