Hahaha yeah, and besides, drilled and slotted rotors look really tacky imo. Too much going on.

Drilled and Slotted rotors also reduce friction surface and the pads tend to wear out faster.

We just need a few more people, for any of the local Orange County guys, I may stop by one of the meets coming up (I don't have a G though). I'll bring the OE rotor and a sample rotor around the target weight so you can feel the difference. I look forward to meeting some of you guys.

Q8y_drifter,

The money will be well spent and well worth it! But keep in mind, full payment will not be needed right away. Once we have the 10 orders confirmed, we will collect a 30% deposit to reserve your set. You will be charged the remaining amount once your package has shipped from our facilities to you. Our estimated shipment time is 12-16 weeks after down payments have been received.

Estimated shipping to NY 11413 by UPS Ground is $43.68

Let me know if you'd like to sign up!

Better yet, after d/p, and 16 week wait... that's only like saving $3.75 a day for 112 days!

i'm not worried about the price of the brakes but rather shipping. 40lb x $10 = $400. That's how much Aramex will charge me to ship those to Kuwait haha. Not to mention I dont have the Akebono's yet. I think I'll just wait lol

Ouch! Why not have them shipped with the Akebono's to help consolidate the shipment? Or possible even ship them via slow boat rather than air freight.

Ian,

A lot of customers agree with you. Our Corvette Z06 customers love our open slot rotors because it gives them more disc surface compared to drilled rotors. Overall our open slot finish is becoming the popular choice for two piece rotors. Not only do they look great, they perform great.

Here's some feedback from a customer with a Z06 prefering our patented open slot design:

"...I like the concept of the brake dust having someplace to go in the open slot, and hopefully some additional air circulation. The only other rotors I have used are the stock Z06, and with Miller's huge front straight where I am approaching 150 MPH, I warped and cracked the stock rotors, burnt the caliper pistons, and boiled my brake fluid. That is when I switched to your rotors...."
