Man, Lightnings are freaking awesome! I used to go on FTW and always saw some really nice Lightnings.

The G will definitely handle, brake, and pamper u better. Mods do cost more than for the Ford and you won't get as much, but the refinement is miles beyond.

Welcome to the club.

I think Lightnings are stupid. To me a truck should be hauling dirt not racing.

The only mods I plan doing is lowering springs and air intake.

What's wrong with doing both? I mean, if you have to haul stuff and can't afford two vehicles, the Lightning is a great way to go. Haul dirt during the week, haul a$$ on the weekends!

To each his own I guess, but I would be the one to feel stupid to see a truck rip me a new hole.

If you haven't driven one, you're missing out. The rush in acceleration is unreal, truck or not. It'll go toe to toe w/c5 'vette.
All it take is one drive, you'll look back and see the error of your comment.

It's just my opinion but I've driven enough pickup trucks to know that I don't want a pickup truck no matter how fast it will go. If all I wanted was the power rush I would have bought a Mustang Cobra or Pontiac GTO.

Lightning is cheaper then both those vehicles. But its not just that, its the fact that its a truck and it can hang with most vehicles out on the road.
