there goes my paycheck. honestly there are a few cars that are very rare combinations especially the remaining 2006 M's that we have so we sell them for at least $1000 above invoice. it's hard trying to make a good living as a sales consultant when everyone beats you up for every little penny but some cars that we have i can always work a few bucks above invoice

carsdirect.com got the dealer invoice... lower prices than edmunds

I picked up an '06 G35 Sedan base model out the door price of $30K from Metro Infiniti in Monrovia. I shopped online and got different dealerships to give me quotes before I even thought about test driving one. All I had to do was convince my hubby that this was the car for me. I also got a great deal for financing through my credit union.

A lot of previous posters have given you great tips already. Just be sure to stand your ground. If you don't feel comfortable dealing with that particular salesperson, walk away. After all, they are going to be taking your money in the end and you want to make sure that they've trully earned their business. Good luck!
