Looking at an 06 Sedan, what price...
Im looking at a new 2006 Sedan Base and am wondering how far I can push the dealer on the price considering that the 07s are being pre ordered already. Id think they want to get the 06s off the lot ASAP.
The car has..
5AT
Premium
Aero
Sports Susp
Trunkmat
Splash Guards
MSRP 36,950
Per Edmunds the prices are...
Invoice $33,752
TMV $33,304 (what others are paying)
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/infi....html?action=2
Per Edmunds their is a $2500 dealer "Marketing Rebate"
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/infi...8&state=MD#dms
What is a "Marketing Rebate"? Is it like an unpublished manufacture to dealer rebate? Is this what Infiniti is doing to help the dealers get the 06's off the lots? If so then even at the Edmunds TMV their is still $2000 left on the table in the delaers favor. Any chance I could get the car for $32,304 or lower?

that price sounds feasable but i don't know who has any base model 6mt's left. i would never order just a base model.... there are a few sunroof models and premium package cars are definitely worth the extra bucks.

Is their a Infiniti "Marketing" rebate of $2500 out their?
5AT not 6MT
I dont want a base persay, just not an all wheel drive platform. I'd want the Premium Package and Sports Suspension at a minimum.
Thanks,
Matt
Did a 24 mth lease in July. '06 auto black on grey, premium, sports susp, aero kit. Paid 32100 for mine. Sticker was 36,500 or somewhere around that.
I perhaps could have talked them down 1K more, but they would not give me the marketing $$ unless I purchased rather than leased.

There is good pricing available on 2006 sedans. Recently purchased 2006 sedan, 5AT, MSRP = $36,150. Purchase price = $31,150 plus tax, tag, dealer fee. Others may do better, but I was pleased.
