Buying a G35 coupe

First, I want to thank everyone on this site. I used this site to research questions on deciding if a G35c was the right choice for my next car. I have two offers from two different dealers: the first one is from a dealer that is 38 miles from me for a 07 G35c 5at with premium package, wheel upgrade, splash guard, trunk mat and xm radio (which I don't need) for $35,100. The second one is from a dealer located 98 miles away for a 07 G35c 5at with premium package, splash guard and a trunk mat for $33,250. My question is should I deal with a dealer located 100 miles away to get a better deal, knowing that I would have to drive that far to bring the car in for service? What do you think of the prices offered, good deals or can I do better? Thanks for the advise.

you can get warranty and service done at any infiniti dealership. doesn't have to be the one you bought it from unless they're throwing in free services.

Tell the closer dealer you're going to the farther dealer. They may make you a deal to get your business.
Both of those prices seem good.
You can get service at any dealer.

That second dealer is doing it at about $1000 under invoice. That's pretty good deal. Invoice on that car is $34,152. The first one's price is $100 over invoice. If you can get the second to do same pricing on the similar vehicle from dealer one, then that would be a sweet deal.

Do this .... if you haven't already bought the car.

1. Tell the closer dealer about the deal from the farther dealer.... ask him to match it ...

2. If he cannot match it then go and buy the car from the other dealer.... cause its a pretty good deal.

3. Get the 0.9% APR ... that rate is unheard of lately .... unless you go american.

4. good luck.

Both Cars are Brand new 2007 Coupes, the deal ends tomorrow for the one for 33,250 and 5.9% APR. I love the car but having second thoughts after getting in the rear seats. know its a coupe but that back seat is useless unless you are less that 5'7" ( have two kids and my son is 6'1"). I love how the car looks and drive but have to make a choice if I can live with that issue.
If not,I might be looking for a diff. type of car (maybe a sport sedan). Oh Im in the Buckeye State.

Heyy... its like you are telling my story (and probably many other people in the same predicament.)

I had the coupe... and after 2 yrs it started getting too tight in terms of space ... friends didnt want to get in the back seat anymore... i dont have kids yet... but the need to have a 4 door sedan was pretty high... and I wasnt ready to go all luxury still wanted a 'sport' element to my ride.

So i went with the 07 M35x... check it out at your dealer... there are some really good deals on it... cause they want to move all the 07s before the new 08 comes by.

you might be surprised with the deal you might get.... i heard they are offering 0.9% APR... and lease deals are pretty good as well.

And your six footer kid, will be more than comfy in it

Flippy,

Ask for a written quote from dealer #2, take it to dealer #1 and ask them to to match it ... if they refuse, go to dealer #2. Chances are, you'll only have to see dealer #2 every 3-4 months depending on how much driving you'll be doing. And pay cash, if you can. Cash offers from buyers would definitely factor into the negotiation. If/when paying cash, cut it down by $500 to $700 from their quoted price or ask for another option upgrade plus the $$$ you'll be saving from the interest charges. From my experience, my Baby G has been very dependable.

Good luck.

Do you guys think we can get 5K-6K off MSRP for the 07 coupes now? I would assume they want to move them asap since 08's are right around the corner. Plus right now they have the $1500 incentive to dealers as well.
