Would you pull the trigger

i have been using this site as a great resource and i am about to pull the trigger on a 05/06 coupe. here is what i found, let me know what you think

06 Silver, AT, Premium, Sports, Aero, 28.5k miles

i got them down to $27 + tax

I was hoping for a few less miles, but the price is right and i like some of the updates on the 06 vs the 05's. Going back to the dealer today to try and finish the deal.

I think you can go lower. IMHO. 27k + tax will put you in the 30k. Now if it was 27k out the door then I would say go for it. Try to make them go to around 25k + tax. 07 is just around the corner if you can wait a few months. Then probably 06 prices will drop some what. Just my suggestion.

My taxes are pretty low, only 6.75, chicago area.
it comes out to $29k even out the door and they are offering pretty good financing at 6.9%. if they help me out a bit on my trade in i think i'll take it. i want to by now, before the cheap interest rates for the new 07's run out. this way i have some leverage with the used car guys.
Just such high milage on a car thats been registered for 18 month is the only worry i have.

Have you tried lookin in the private sector? Probably can get a better price with less milage. Only thing is it won't be a dealer car. Not sure if that is a big factor or not. And if you have a trade-in then dealer would be best since you don't have to hassle yourself with selling the car. Best of luck tho. Either way you won't be disappointed in the G you get

I am still working the deal, they are being a PITA and low balling me on the trade. so i checked out another dealer and they had an '06 with 19k, premium only. but the rear bumper cover had a ****ty paint job that did not match the rest of the car and i refused to pay that much for a car that was in an accident. hoping to close the deal on that '06 with 28k miles tomorrow.
