my friends sister had someone pay off the balance of her student loans and she doesnt know who did it

You never gave an update on the payment history

did bank ever gave you that info.

you should see what kind of payments were made on the loan.

But hey, if they want you to have the title... it's not your fault. You've done everything you can in your power to do the right thing. You know what I mean?

Thus, keep the title, and just be happy with it!

I'm just doubtful that bank won't notice the mistakes they made later on... but what are they gonna do now that you have the title?
