dealership issues?

So i head over to my local infiniti hoping to see if they can get me the 08 g35 sedan in a 6mt.

the ******* at the dealership not only kept challenging me in my skill of driving saying im better off with the 5at. he kept saying how he was a good driver and how i cant handle the power i think its because they have only 5ats in at the time they dont want to help me out with finding a base model g35 sport 6mt.

so in the end today the guy i started off with passed me off to a younger salesman that didnt know anything and was like maybe we can try to find you one and gave me his card and left me alone.

this was my second time there and still acting like jerks.....i wished i had a better local dealer. i ended up looking at the new c-class 350 benz but thinking of emailing the infiniti guy. what an unbelievable experience

Quite being such an a-hole.

Nah nah j/k. Honestly with treatment like that, you're better off checking out another dealer. I can honestly say that I've had some customers who flat out could not drive a stick shift worth a f**k, but I agree with your line of thinking in that they're probably trying to switch you over to a 5A/T because it's all they have in stock.

When will the non-enthusiasts learn that for some folks, there simply is no substitute for a true stick and clutch. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with an A/T, but some folks just flat out refuse to drive anything with less than 3 pedals so I can definitely understand where you're coming from.

Questions though, if you're looking at a C350, an M/T is obviously not a must have seeing as the all new '08 C-Class Mercs only come with a stick shift in C300 form and not in C350 form. The previous gen W203 C350 was available with a 6M/T, but the all new W204 unfortunately is not.
