These are just personal thoughts:

I purchased my 03 MT6 G with 6,400 miles on the clock a year and a half ago. I currently have 50,000 miles on the clock. (I do outside sales and this is my mobile office.) Anyway I have not had any issues with my G. I do have an extended warranty till 100K miles but I plan on keeping the car for after that.

Cars are built better these days and 100K miles is not what it was in an 82 IROC.

Anyway I would not shy away if you are on a budget and its clean. You should expect to find luxury issues with the car though. Like $hitty leather and power window issues.

i completely disagree. i have seen pristine cars at 100k miles that have been driven a majority of the time on the highway. as stated above, if all the service records show that regular maintenance has been done (i.e. timing belt, oil changes, trans fluid changes, etc.) the car could be in better shape internally than a car with much fewer miles. do your research.

as for your initial question, i don't think there are too many specific issues with this car. i could be wrong though, i owned an 06 and don't know too much about the earlier models.

Car prices have dropped here in Calgary in the last few years. It cost me $31,000 in 2006 to get a 03 mt coupe with 80,000k (kilometers) on it. A new loaded G will run you around $56,000 plus tax.
So now in today auto trader the same 03 sells for around $24,000 which is about the lowest priced G35 Coupe that I have ever seen around here.

$16800 would be dirt cheap here, put in a block heater, seat warmers, heated mirrors and daytime running lights and sell it up here.

Put a few hundred thousand more mile on it and then it would be considered to be prime material for a Taxi Cab... or maybe not, it's only got two doors.

It still seems like us cannucks are still being hosed on car prices big time, eh!

Like I said it is not worth it. 93K is way to many mi. and for that price with no evidence the 99-100K service was done I would run and not look back. In addition his asking price is not far off if at all from a G35 you could find with less mi.
