Thinking/Going to buy a g35 coupe 6mt...what do i need to look for

any common problems?

Are there any years that are better than the rest?

Problem areas to look for when checking one out?

Any specific options i should look for?

etc...etc...

Any help would be really appreciated, as i am serious about getting one of these cars. And after i got one, i would most likely become an active member on this board.

Thanks for any info!

I think this is the wrong area to post this question. I will say that there are threads related to the car on a whole. Go search grasshopper

What years have you narrowed it down to?
In a nutshell
'03 - first year, several problems, but has Brembos
'04 - less problems, Brembos
'05 - nicer interior, Revup engine has oil consumption issues, no Brembos
'06 - same as '05 + bluetooth
'07 - I believe the oil consumption issues were resolved

Even though the '05+ revup motors have 298hp stock (and, I think 306 on the '07) the '05 and '06 seem to perform similarly or even worse than the '03-'04, possibly due to less torque and I've heard they put down nearly the same rear-wheel HP than the '03-'04 despite having +18hp at the crankshaft (no idea why)
