good price? 03 coupe

So I'm thinking about purchasing a 03 G35 coupe from a friend of a friend.
80,000 miles
5AT
Premium Package
18" wheels
sunroof (I'm not sure if that's part of the premium package)
needs new rear tires
price is 13k What do you think?

Prices vary depending on where the car's at but 13k is suspiciously cheap by any measures. I'd say look into the history... Have you checked the title?

Title is clean. Car is located in LA/OC Cali. I was initially worried about the miles. But, the reason it is so cheep is that, it's a friend of a friend who just picked up an M3 (e46 incase you're interested) and wanted a quick sale. Thanks for your input.

Decent price

I've been lookin for a G for about 3 months and the price you quoted is pretty good. KBB says private party value is around $12,500 for a well-equipped 03 with those miles. If you know the car has been taken care of and it feels right inside of you buy that sucker!!!!

KBB tends to live in an imaginary world where everything is 10-20% cheaper than in the real world. This '03 with that many miles usually sells for min $16k esp during summer. So 13k is way too cheap by any measures.

Not so fast my friend

Because I am looking for a G, I've done a lot of research on Autotrader, Cars.com, ect. and I have found a LOT of 03 G's (mostly 4 doors) with 70,000-80,000 miles for under $14,000. I have a local guy here that started at $15,000 through craigslist, and is down to $13,500. I lost my job a couple of weeks ago or I would have jumped all over that car. Good news is I accepted an offer Sunday so who knows when I'll be in a G.

Not trying to be argumentative, just letting you know what I've found.

Yes. Sedan G's are cheaper than the coupes, so 13k for a sedan with 70-80k isn't much at all. I was referring to the orig poster who was looking at a coupe

Hope you'll get your G soon

OP and G Wishin, what are you price ceilings if you don't mind me asking? My next response will be depending on the answer you're looking for.

What color options are you looking for? Do you have any alternative choices if you don't find color choice#1?
