if you plan modding go for the g35, the engine can take more abuse than the 3.7l so i've heard. Prob because of the compression ratio.

I've always had a car with crappy interior so this car is one hell of an upgrade from my 88 i-roc z28 and my 95 240sx 5mt

i think you are off base on this. the 35 is only good with internals up to 400 or so hp. there are fi manufacturers putting out the word that during testing of pre-production turbos and s/c for the 37, they are safely getting 540 hp on stock internals.

I've learned that if you hate something.. like the styling of a car you can eventually come to like it if you keep staring at pics of it or keep looking at it if you see it in person.

G37 all the way, man. I had an 04 G35c 6mt and i love my 37 so much more. Styling-wise, It grows on you. It's huge leap from the last gen but its definitely an evolution of something that was already great. honestly, you can't go wrong either way -but i'd go the 37 route if your willing to drop some extra $tacks.

lol... depends... If someone came to me and said here is a G37 in OB w/ 22K miles w/ premium and NAV ... for trade with my G35 OB w/ 22K miles w/ prem and nav... I would laugh at them... I love the older gens too much to care about the trivial increase in performance... In looks the older ones are wayy more defined than the new ones... The 37 simply took the 35 and added lines and curves where none were necessary (hence the few months it takes to "fall in like" with the car)... The min I saw the 35... I knew I loved the styling... it certainly didnt take me time to get used to it...

not to mention... if you are putting enough $$ in it... it wont matter which one you pick... you can make em both just as fast ...

the g35 had a good run. its still a good looking car, but the interior is outdated. the exterior will always be a classic, but it defiinitely shows its age. there are many, like myself, who couldnt wait to get rid of their g35 when they saw the g37 in person. remember, this is just my opinion.

also, with the power upgrades that the aftermarket manufacturers are developing, people are totally stoked that this engine seems to be bullet proof. the g35 had its limitations without getting into the iternals.

That does not count.
not true in my case and I'd still prefer the G37 over the G35.

Destroys is an overstatement unless you are specifically referring to its interior

Personally, I wouldn't trade my 06 Coupe for a G37. The G37 is too soft looking for my taste. The G37 is a great car. But if I were in the market for a new car, I'd do anything to spend a little more and grab myself a 335i Coupe.

The G37 is more refined and has a better interior, motor, and brakes. Though with its added refinement, it also lost some of the rawness of the G35 Coupe.

.

Honestly both cars feel the same as far as Engine power, Iv driven both.
03-07 G35C 280HP
G37C 330HP

The G37c might have 50HP over the G35c, But it also has more weight to pull.

Both great cars!

i would have to agree with vinny. the g37 has much more torque. my g35 would never rip through second spinning the back tires all the way through, and spin some more getting into third. yes, it was february, but i also had a friend in the car. he was considering trading up to a third gen g35 from his 04 g35 sedan.
