Arrow Looking to buy a G35 sedan...

I'm looking @ a 2004 G35x (x?) with 57k miles @ a local car lot. They're asking $14k. I'm assuming that a pretty good price. What does the "x" mean?
...does anyone have advice about the G35? I need a sedan for the family.

I'm not sure. Are all the G35 sedans *-'05 pretty much the same? Anything I need to look out for while I'm looking @ them? ...The reason I ask is, 5 years ago I bought a '96 Mustang, & after I bought it I learned that 96-98 mustangs were the slowest, & in 99 the improved the heads, cams, & intake. So I've dropped a load of $ trying to beef up my Gt. If I'd know that before the purchase, I'd never had bought a 1996.

The S badge denotes it as having the sports suspension. I think in the sedan you had to get a 6MT to get that but I might be wrong. I also don't believe any AWD G can have the sport suspension. Also, the brakes on 03-04 Gs were really bad. The 05-06 were better, but the 05 AWD version still had the 03-04 brakes.
