Good Price?

Hey guys,

I got a quote for an 08 G35 with Premium, Navigation, Technology and splash guards for $35,565-$1000(conquest)=$34,565 + TTL. Do you guys think this is a good price? Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
Nick

Good price

Seems like a pretty good price. Negotiate as much as you can.

I'm assuming you're being quoted on a 2008 G35 Journey with Nav/Tech/Prem/Splash. If this is the case, the Invoice on this car, including destination is $35,882. So, you're being quoted $317 under invoice, which is pretty good. I just acquired a new G35 Journey Sport/Prem/Cargo Net for $36 over invoice ($34,500) on 8/21/2008, so your deal is about $300 better than mine (and I DID A TON OF RESEARCH, so shame on me).

Incidentally, I did get the $1,000 rebate, however that is applied NET of taxes, so it didn't bring my sell price down to $33,500, it brought my out the door price down by $1,000. Good luck and let us know how things go!

For what it's worth, I took advantage of the 0.9% interest for 60 mos.

Hey Ground Beef,

I was lucky because I had 1 very persistent dealer who wanted to sell me the car no matter what. He was willing to beat my best price and was great to work with, I bought my car at Marin Infiniti, in Marin, Ca. I also took advantage of the 0.9% financing for 60mths and combined that with the $1000 conquest cash so I think i got a great deal for my car. Hope your enjoying your G as much as I am

So you got that quoted price AND the interest rate financing? My dealer is telling me I can either pay $1K under invoice for cash or $36K with the financing rate. sticker is 38.8 and invoice is 36.2. This sounds high to me given the incentives, no?

Well I did buy my car before 9/2 and that was when there was a $1000 conquest along with 0.9% financing. From what I am hearing now there is a $3000 rebate or 0.9% financing and these cannot be combined. Depending on where you are and how many dealers you have around, you should be able to easily get $3000 under invoice when paying cash or invoice and 0.9% financing.
