ok deal or no?

i'm looking at a '05 g coupe. the seller is asking for $18,000. I got him to come down to about $17,500.

i've been trying to have him come down to $17k but he wont budge.

considering '09 is coming, '05 is going to take another hit. is $17.5k an ok deal?

the car has about 35k miles on it or so.

Dealer? Private?

I just sold my 05' fully loaded w/ nav, 34k for $17,500 trade-in. That's about as much as he'd get for a trade-in.

So, probably a fair deal, yes.

Sounds good if it's the car you REALLY want, don't forget to run a
Carfax. You don't need someone elses headaches, but it sounds like a good
deal....you couldn't buy my '04 for that!

I think 17k is fair since it doesn't have Nav. If it has the sport package (LSD, metal pedals, suspension) than maybe 17.5
