Anyone else has any bad experiences?
Yes the tranny is very rough at first even if you know how to drive MT but its gets smoother over time, one thing i hate is the "high" clutch

How hard do you drive it. When the car cam out (back in 03'), I was on a very long street and dude in an 03 auto, kept flooring at at every red light. I was in my 00' Max and not even trying to race him. Waaaay to many G/Z drivers drive just like that. Not saying you drive like that but, MT's have always been known to be significantly more fuel efficient than autos.

^^yes its true that 6mts are more fuel efficient but the problem is the driver who cant resist downshifting and going faster etc, not saying anything bad about the drivers cus i do it too, but i think thats the little factor that makes 6mt not AS fuel efficient as they should be

Is your drive downhill both ways?

People don't buy the G35 for the fuel efficiency, so if your looking for great mpg, you won't find it with the G35. 6MT is supposed to save you gas, but you buy a manual to push it and have fun, so you won't save much. Only knocks I have about my 04 coupe 6mt so far is the window problem and maintenance can become pretty expensive. But i figure if you can afford the G, you could afford the cost to maintain it. Other than that, the clutch might take a little getting used to, but once youre used to it its great.

So just test drove the coupe today and was mighty impressed. I like the short throw clutch and getting used to it only took a minute or two, very nice. Although I did forget to the test drive it with the VDC off, only remembered it when I left. Is there a big driving difference with the VDC off from on?

Anywho, the dealer wanted way too much so I put a reasonable offer, hopefully he will take it.

Thanks for all the advice guys it helped in the test drive.
