Nobodies raging your salvage car. You got what you could afford a salvage car. Good for you. This post is for educational purposes. Many just don't know the first thing about buying cars and I'm just trying to help out. In my opinion your not saving anything buy putting your money in a salvaged vehicle. You can't sell it and banks won't finance it.

I believe I'll drive on over to the 'tittle' of a thread that uses some semblance of proper grammar. ;(

^This a great thread Im sorry but educational purposed? Were lol sorry but you dont know what your talking about.

Your looking at the "salvage" name and thats it. A car could get a salavge title because of tones of things. It dos not all ways mean its not safe or worth any thing.

Lets say the hole car was keyed and it would cost $4,000 to paint it but the car is worth $8,000 so it gets a salavge title. Are you saying if the car gets painted then its not safe? or worth any thing?

Ok look at this, two cars come in the shop and there both the same make and model with the same hit. One is a 2004 and the other a 2005, so the 2004 is worth $1,000 less so it gets a salvage title. So the 2004 is not safe but the 2005 is? just because of the year?

Sorry but there is much more to this then you know about. One insurance comany totales cars at 40% of there value and some at 70% So are you saying all the cars fixed in the 41%-69% range are only safe depending on what insurance company fixed it? Because some would give a salvage title and some would not?

All so look at this. A bad hack shop fixes a car with $2,000 in damage, but the car is safer then a car with $10,000 of damage fixed at the dealership back to the same specs as when it was new?

A car might not be safe because of who or how it was fixed. Not because of a peice of paper or cash price.
