I am financing around $18K and of course I have to stick with Infiniti because just flat out don't like any other car brand enough! I'm deciding between an AWD FX35 and the FX45 - the thing is I will ONLY drive the FX with the 20-inch wheels, lol. So I'm either buying the FX35 with the optional 20's, or not putting down the $1K and spending that getting the FX45 20's, lol.

Anyway black or pearl white is all I'm looking at, any recommendation I really can't seem to find / afford a 2006 FX35 even though I did want the color screen. I'll probably just swap out the OEM black and white screen for a double din unit - hopefully this is possible?

the main question between those 2 would be where do you live and will the AWD be needed? in most cases that question makes the choice a LOT easier. It helped me make my choice on coupe or sedan when you factor in i live in chicago.

 

almost all fx35's and all fx45s are awd. personally i would lean towards the v8 cuz i think they sound pretty good for stock exhaust. thou the 4.5 has a history for oc. if it under 4/60 warranty still and similar price for the 35, get the 45

 

does it have to say fx45x? I haven't seen one that says fx45x yet on the road.

 

no, theres no extra x on the car. there all just fx35's or fx45's. the rwd fx35 is very rare, ive only seen probably 2 and ive been at my dealership for almost 2 years.
