Buying G35 - low budget
Buying G35 - low budget
Hi all,
so one of my friends referred me here since i was just giving up hope on getting a G35 based on my price range: about 11,000 (i really can't go up much higher than this).
I was told to stay away from salvaged titles and g's with over 100,000 miles.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
david

You may be able to find a private party, HIGH mileage one on cars.com or autotrader.com thats in fair condition. But just be prepared to spend hundreds or thousands, repairing and maintaining the thing. My advice, save up 5k or so more, or try to find a 350z.
It's not that far-fetched that G35 values have fallen low enough for this person to afford to buy one. You can get an '03 sedan with about 70K-80K miles around here for $10K-11K now. My '04 will probably net about $10K in a trade-in nowadays.
price depends on your market. Bigger question is--can you afford to maintain it?

I bought my 04 w/ 74k miles for $12250.
Not sure where you're located, but you can def. find something for 11k, either a 90k mile 04 or 75k mile 03.
The only thing is, it will take time... It took me six months to find my car, especially since I was on a budget + school.
