Smile 20 yr old looking for a g35

Well I want to get a g35 because of the style of the car and its seems nice. now I'm just trying to figure out what year and miles i should be looking for. I'm going to get a loan for it so i wanna keep it like under 15000 grand for the car.

a hooby? no i have no idea what you mean.

for under 15 grand you are looking at either a 03/04 or 05 most likely. do you want a sedan or a coupe?

the only difference is the amount of doors. there is no difference in performance.

You can get lots of cars for 15000 grand

But seriously, if you're not that mechanically inclined, just prepare to pay a little bit in maintenance when it comes time to do it. These cars sometime have specific issues that need addressing.
What are you looking for? 2 doors? 4 doors? Manual transmission? Auto?
Alot of owners here say avoid the 05-06 manual transmission REVUP G35s due to an oil consumption TSB, so that may sway your options a bit if you're wanting an 05.

My personal opinion? If you're 20 years old, trying to knock out college, I wouldn't finance and have to pay back $15K on a car which might need a bit more money to keep it in shape, but I don't really know where you're at in life.

Totally agree with you, don't finance a car because of all the interest that you'll gather up and these cars need lots of maintenance done over the life of the car. If you need to borrow, get your parents involved and tell them thats what you want. But if you are set and you think you can financially afford it, monthly, gas wise, maintenance and insurance then go for it!

If you are active duty military, I wouldnt recomment buying it on a loan only because depending on your pay grade may be a bit low to solely afford one. I pay about $500 a month now for my car payment/insurance and I am 28. Not to mention that for about $15000, it will be hard to get a G that is in good to excellent condition with lower miles. I paid $20000 + tax for my 2006 with almost 55k miles. I love my car but I could have bought a GTO(Boo!) or something else for less. Be prepared to pay slightly above that for a G so you may even want to consider a 350z.
