HI, i am getting this 06 g35 black coupe

with kenstyle bodykit, navi, upgraded sound system
and 39K miles only (of course it is 6mt! ).

I checked carfax and it showed as a clean car.

i would ask if it has been consuming oil, check to see if the axle is clicking see all the problems oure cars have. call the dealer with the vin # see if they have been getting repairs for this car, check or ask for maitnace recepts. most likely ur buying as is?

 

yes, i am buying it as is from a private seller.

Before I buy the car, I am going to take it to an infiniti dealership
and gets a pre-purchase inspection.

However, i did ask the dealership about oil consumption problem that a lot of g35s have, and they said there is no way to know it right away since they have to refuel the engine oil and will make me come back after 500miles to see if there is a significant amount of oil being used.

Other than the pre purchase inspection, i was just going to look inside and outside and test drive and if it was all good, was going to buy it right there.

GL my friend!! i love this car but i know its consuming oil. u know how u can tell??? do a oil change urself dont tell the guy mesure the oil on it if its not at 5 qts. if its at 4-3 qts dont buy it. make sure u see when he did an oil change. if he just did one then u cant tell. but if its been at least 1,000 miles since then u mite be able to tell.

is it around 5qts?

Yea i will check when he did the oil chagne, and if it has been more than 1000 miles and the oil level is close to 5 qts, it should be good to go!

If you like the kenstyle front bumper I'd go and buy it but why not get it stock? and make it your own. just my 2 cent.

 

Anywhere from 17-18k for this car is a good deal IMO, especially if its from a private seller.
