Need advice buying a 05 g35c

I've been looking for a G35 coupe for the past month. My budget is give or take $13k and I just found an 05 g35 coupe with the premium package listed at 12,700 with 111k miles.

ad is here http://omaha.craigslist.org/cto/2625120527.html

I'm wondering if this is a good deal? I would of course have it checked out by an Infiniti dealer for the OC issue since its the HR engine.

Only other one I've found is on 03 with 97k miles for around the same price. I'm only looking for 6MT so its harder to find those around here

The 05 isn't the HR motor, but is the rev-up motor with the OC issues correct. That is a lot of miles for the money. It's probably closer to a 10k dollar car IMO.

03 is probably an 8500 dollar car.

Although I have been looking for sedans so coupes might bring more i guess.

In the end, the cars are worth what you are willing to pay for them.

You have to realize on the site we are biased since we know the true worth and all the problems. Use that in your negotiations alot of ppl or dealerships dont know about these issues or choose not to tell you. If you do your hw it allows for a better deal.

I just found an 05 g35c 6MT fully loaded with 68k miles and the guy is asking 16,000. What would be a good offer to shoot him?
