Any buying advice?

My last car was declared totaled and i'm in a search for a new car. I saw a g35 and automatically fell in love. I am 18, but my dad is going to be dealing with buying the car for me (kinda like a graduation/birthday present) and ive been looking around but not much seems to be in my price range sadly. (arrrrounndd 15k) im not entirely sure what a good amount of mileage for a year of the car is, and my dad is saying no to a lot because of that. And personally i want the coupe cause it looks amazing, but should i settle for a 4 door? i am just not sure how much mileage for each year is considered good, (for that price) im seriously in LOVE with this car and my dad said if i cant find a car by the end of the week he is gonna buy me a mitsubishi lancer! (not good!) all helps appreciated!

No offense but I don't think younger people should be driving sport cars. If you end up getting a G or another sport car I would suggest respecting the car and not acting like clown. Either way getting a G for 15k isn't unheard of. I bought mine for around that its a 2003 but I love it the same. I bought mine with 45k miles on it as well. They are out there you just need to be patient and wait and jump on one when you get the chance. I would say getting one around 80k miles or less would be the best. Good luck with your car search.
