Hi All,

I'm new to forum and a possible owner of an 08' G37 or 05' G35...which would you take?

I'm looking at an 08' G37 w/44k miles on it for $18k or a 05' G35 w/82k miles for 15K. The G37 is 5AT and the G35 is 6MT. I did some reading and after some digging I did confirm the 2005 G35 already has the engine swapped out back in 2008 so I'm good there.

I'm leaning towards the G35 6MT because I want a stick but is the extra 32HP in the 08 worth driving an 5AT?

between those choices I'd go for the G35 and get a lower price because the engine has been swapped.
Still the 37's not a terrible price though.

But for $3,000 you could get the 32hp loss with some modifications for sure.

If you're looking for hp, I have a 03 coupe with a freshly built motor and twin turbos. It is still in the shop being finished. Should be around 700hp to the wheels. Let me know if you're interested.

I didn't pick up either of the cars I mention in previous post. The G37 was priced so low because it was not running?!? (I was like wtf?) The G35 5AT was sold last night. I went back on to Autotrader this morning and I'm now the proud owner of an 07' G35 coupe 6MT
