Definitely the deal is to get a 39 month lease. They take the residual of the 36 month lease and then amortize it over 39 months making for a nice little drop. There's no point in going into my numbers cos I am working in Canadian dollars but there is 3.9% going on up here.

I used to work for Nissan, so it's basically the same thing...

But the difference in mileage allowed per year in lease from lets say 10K to 15K is under a thousand dollars TOTAL. So for those of you that want to lease in the future, make sure that the dealership doesn't try to *** r@pe you on the extra mileage.

And for the guy that spend $33,000 on a lease. If you haggled better, you could've had the same payments and down payment and purchased the car. And if you're going to talk about interest rate, generally the interest rate is LOWER on good credit for purchases when compared to leases.

***But you may have had a trade-in which changes everything. Because if you were upside down, then your D.P. went there instead of to your carpayments.

And if your car sale's man tells you that there's no interest paid on leases, your car sale's man is lying to you. I know this, because a couple of people at my old place of business used to tell customers this all the time. And people believed it.

On a side note, I'm sooooo glad I got out of the business. Teaching 1st graders is so much more rewarding.

Some of these lease prices are nuts. I guess I will stick with buying a used '04 if I do get one.

How much are you guys paying on your lease, how many miles are allowed & how much did you put down?
$335/mo $14k down cuz I plan on buying it out right...just wanted to lower payment up front.

I pay $559/month @ 15k/year.

I was hoping to get $500/month, but i got navigation and a higher interest rate that demolished those dreams.

Same here!

what a waste of money, you guys put all this money into a vehicle and have to give the car back just doesnt make sense. At the end you have nothing to show for. You guys need to finance it.

Word!! That's the only way I'd go 'cause anything >$400/mo is insane IMHO. (But then again, I'm cheap. )
