I've thought about leasing for 2 or maybe 3, but I'd prefer 2, years instead of buying.

How much are you guys paying on your lease, how many miles are allowed & how much did you put down?

I put down $1k, covers first payment and fees. MSRP, $39,xxx, paid $36,700. Residual 60% 39 month lease, interest rate was somewhere around 7% (there's a money factor, not really an exact percentage) it was this high because my auto credit score was 650.....Credit score was around 700 but your auto score is usually lower. I pay $559/month @ 15k/year.

I was hoping to get $500/month, but i got navigation and a higher interest rate that demolished those dreams.

First off, I don't like the 04's at all....secondly, how do you figure you would be better off buying an 04. If i would of bought my 05 for 60 months (already longer than I would want the car for), assuming a lower interest rate of 6%, my payments would be over $744/month! Now if you put a lot down and get a less loaded car, then yes you can get it for cheaper, but I got my car fully loaded.

Again, your car was probably atleast $2k less than mine and you probably had a better interest rate than I did at that time, hence your lower payments.....do you have 15k miles?
