How much are you paying to lease your G35c?

How much are you guys paying on your lease, how many miles are allowed & how much did you put down?

Sorry I'm a buyer not a leaser so can't help you. Honestly man my payment is less than some of these guys and I put $5K down on an '03.5 coupe FULLY LOADED. I wanted to mod my car, drive it to China if I want (and was able to
) without worrying about anything. I can sell it when I please and do with it as I please. I leased my first GTP and it was a big mistake. Demodding all of my hard work in a few weeks and turning it in a year early only to avoid the beating on mileage overages. Just ain't worth it. Summary: if you aren't driving much and aren't going to mod it go ahead. Also remember it has to be in pristene shape when you turn it in or the big bad lease police will send you a bill for any damage that wasn't part of the "allowance" (which is pretty crappy...they are damn picky).
My .02 deposited. Good luck!

Exactly you put $5k down, I didn't, you probably have to pay for your car for 6 years, I don't. If you put $1k down your payments would be higher than mine and in 3 years you would probably break even (which is all chance, my old acura depreciated a lot in 3 years). You end up spending more money because your payments are higher, this is of course if you get rid of your car in 3 years like I do. Personally I want the newest car out with a warranty. O, I always mod my cars that I lease and your statement about damages is complete bull. I had scratches, dings and this was covered under normal wear and tear. I only had to replace 2 rear tires which were completely bald and I went and got used tires........$75 for 2 tires.
Now, if someone like you, likes to keep there car for many years...than more power to you, you have made the right decision. I just feel like a broken record on this topic.

I pay for my car for 5 years actually
. I am 24 and the G is my 8th car, 3 of them have been newer, and 1 brand new. I like changing but the feeling of driving my car where ever I want is a good thing. A warranty is also important, but I guess that is what extended warranties are for if you chose to do so.

Here are the lease & finance #s I got on a 2005 TL M6 fully loaded today to compare...
Price of car = $31,999 (Fully loaded, incl. navigation, 2005 TL w/6 speed trans) Anthracite w/ebony leather
60 month finance w/$5k down @ 6.99% (Of course I'd finance through my bank instead for less) = $620 a month
24 Month lease w/$2,500 down for 15k miles a year = $689 a month
Residual of $22,828 @ 64%
36 month lease w/$2,500 down for 15k miles a year = $539 a month
Residual of $19,975 @ 56%

Also, are there any current rebates for '05 G35 coupes?
Loco,
I would go to www.carbuyingtips.com it's a great site and gives a lot of good leasing and buying information.(The author is biased to buying) I read that and i learned i can put close to nothing down for a lease. Hope the info helps!!!

I leased two AT sedans (2004) for my business.
0 Down
39 Mo.
$520 / Mo
Fully loaded + Nav
This month I'm planning on selling one of the sedans and getting a 6mt Coupe as I should have done in the first place. I just called up my local dealer and asked for $3k down on a 48 mo lease with under $400 payment, we'll se what the reply is.
I may buy it outright so I can do the tuning I want.
I felt like $520 with $0 down was a good deal at the time (about a year ago).

On the other hand if you bought the car for $37K and paid maybe $3000 in finance charges you end up paying $40K for the car at the end of the 5 years. At end of 5 years your car is only work $16K. Not to mention you still drive the same old car. You still lost $24K. Also every year the value goes down even more. When it comes time to sell you can trade it in and get ripped off or you can go to the trouble of selling it yourself.
If I did not drive so much I would lease. In the end it is about the same loss as buying but you get new car every 3 years. Also like other have mentioned depending on your employment it is a tax write off. Now if the car appreciated like a house then it would be a different story and you would be stupid not to buy.
With the info that you have mentioned, which is limited, I can only guess that you paid say $35,000 for the car, plus tax, comes to ~$37,450. Minus your $5k comes to $32,450. 60 month financing, interest rate ~4.9%, you will pay no less than $610/month. Now, you may have gotten the car a bit cheaper and you may have a slightly less %rate, but in no way should you have paid less than me per month and you had to put more money out of your pocket.
And yes, I drive my car wherever I want, I have driven to many places in my last lease and never ONCE worried about going over my miles. The same for my G, Ive only had my car for 5 months but I didn't hesitate to drive to west palm beach once and miami another time.
My roomate works at a dealer too and I was worried that my last lease would cost me money upon returning it because of my big dent but he told me it would be normal wear and tear. When the lady came to inspect my car she said that is completely fine.
As long as we both agree that each person would benefit from different options than that is cool. I just can't stand when people automatically assume leasing is bad.
