Brisk, don't forget to get a set of tires for the winter. Those Michelins on the 6mt won't let you go anywhere if there's any fresh snow on the roads.
I have the 6mt. Wouldn't trade it for any automatic. I'm not looking forward to getting the rear-axle clicking fixed, only because I have to get a loaner, and that's probably gonna be an automatic.
The only time to regret a manual is with a girl in the passenger seat, and you're driving in traffic where you need to shift..

6mt is the way to go too. car already is at the dealer but some complications came up therefore waiting it out patiently...

also should i be worried that someone is gonna drive my car from dealer A to dealer B in order to transfer the car? (about 30 miles)

MayorDaley, i will probably get some now tires, or find some other means of transportation b/c as you would know chicago winter is kinda bad....lol

Never once did I consider getting the 5AT. When I ordered my 05 LR 6MT, I was told that this was a very difficult car to find. As a matter of fact, the car that I ended up getting was the only 05 LR 6MT anywhere in SoCal at the time. I had to drive over 2 hours to pick it up but it was definitely worth it. A LR 5AT was at a dealership like 10 minutes away from me but it was never even an option for me.

Not sure if this was covered yet, but the only thing I didn't like about the 6MT is the way the shifter rattles and shakes so much especially while driving on the freeway. But the Revo short shifter took care of that problem

Of course asking this question on an enthusiast message board is going to bring an accurate assessment.

The majority of the people here post in the coupe forum.

Combine that with all the people who are actively modifying their car.

What kind of car drivers do you think you are talking to.

That's like going to Texas and asking the residents if they prefer George Bush or Hillary Clinton. The answers are going to be slightly slanted.........
