I cant tell you its under invoice, for that I need your final price before TT&L since tax varies from state to state. But I posted all the invoice prices in this thread, so you should be able to find out if it was over/under and how much. Smart key is not available on 6mt and sport suspension is included, so remember that when you add up the prices.

Ok according to the specs and numbers you gave me looks like you paid 900 under invoice. If thats really for an 06mt with nav, prem, and aero then its really good

I was dealing with a few salesmen, but they gave me the usual, I have to talk to my manager BS, this is the best I can do BS, so I am now dealing with the fleet manager. I just need to work out some details on my trade-in, but I should be ordering my 06 6mt in a week or so. I'll post back with the pricing I get once everything is finalized.

Good luck, try visiting carmax if there is one near you and see what they offer you also.

It looks like Edmonds.com has updated their info for the '06. This might help you guys with some negotiating prices.

Thx G35MR2. I appreciate your insight. I think when I go to the dealer, I'll either talk to his manager and cut the middleman -or- walk back to my truck and get on my phone to talk to my "sales manager" too.
j/k
I'm interested in these cats saying they finalized their purchases for '06s. Did you really? even before they showed up, or is that still a negotiated price before time of sale.

Well, I think its the price negotiated before time of sale, but im not sure b/c i wasnt there. No matter what, we still got 2% over invoice and free tint.

If you really did, then it seems you would know that your previous equation for VPP pricing (invoice+$100) is not how VPP pricing is calculated for Infiniti vehicles. Nor Nissan, for that matter.

I would know, since I got mine at VPP.

And yes, there are a number of factory-to-dealership incentives that never see print in places like Edmunds. Be it for sales, volume, customer satisfaction, marketing, etc.

The only thing I would agree with is that many dealerships are making less and less on the actual sale, and more and more on the financing/leasing due to the hidden rates at which you actually buy the loans.

For a $30K loan, at 60 months, if you buy the loan at 5% and the consumer signs for a 6% loan, you pocket that extra as commission/income for the dealership. In this case, only $14 a month difference in payments, but that 1% would be worth about $734.

Not a bad deal .......

Just got VIN and 10/29 delivery date on my '06 6MT. Premium ,Aero ,Splashguards, Trunkmat, no Navi.
Black/Black. MSRP less 8%. I'm happy and edgy,too! Heh,heh.
Hey, is there a "best" bulb to replace factory corners and strip light with? Have clearcorners and hear about Piaa 194 wedges a lot but some say they burn out fast. Heard Polarg's last longer but if I'm correct they're like 15 ucks each? PRICEY! Some advice to a soon to be Noob really appreciated.
Thank you.

Haha....yeah lot of summer school classes and full loads, but it still took me 5 years. Its alright though, I graduated high school early so it all evened out. My ID is related to the F14 Tomcat ( she might be old but its still a beaut), but it was taken when I signed up for my email 7 years ago, so I slapped an M at the end, and Ive used the same handle everywhere since. I know its silly lol But I have a CS background so I guess you can apply the server name also
