Need 06 invoice pricing!
I am wheeling and dealing on the 06 and I must say Ive got some deals that will make some 05 buyers from a few months back cry
BUT I need 06 invoice pricing to really make a decision. Does anyone have a hookup inside an Infiniti dealership?? Any interenet sites have it out?? Consumer Reports?? I am willing to pay for the information. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA

http://www.edmunds.com - - - build up your car and get the results - - pretty accurate - - but still their pricing results are a little higher than true invoice - - and thats straight from the mouth of an Infiniti salesman who is a close friend. Doesn't get much more accurate than that. And if you're looking at a 6spd, your wheeling and dealing days are numbered. They're rare and they know it. Good luck!
I don't know how accurate this is, but if you go to www.cars.com , you can configure an '05. It will eventually show the invoice as you choose options/colors. Since '06 seems to be $300 more than '05, I'd say it's pretty close....(place best judgement here).
If the deal is good enough, get TWO!!
Good Luck!

So subtract that amount from the base invoice. So they still make money on "invoice sales" I know I can estimate the invoice based on the percentage of increase on the base coupe but some options such as the premium with intellikey are new so I dont have last years figures to compare.

Hey guys, IM a Nissan sales manager. Want an inside scoop? Well here it is.
Invoice price is accually the true price that the dealer pays for the vehicle. What you guys see on edmunds, carsdirect, Kelly Blue Book, are all REAL accual invoices. When dealing with the price of a car, you do not want to add hold back into the mix. The hold back IS NOT 1% for every vehicle, its different for each vehicle. Hold back is typicly $500 to $800. That money is garenteed money, commition if you want to put it, that the dealer is going to get. Also that money is already spent, paying staff, and maintaining the car. No dealer in the right mind will give you a invoice - hold back price. It's just plain stupid. Now if a dealer is telling you that, then they are holding money eles were. IE interest or trade. If you feel that you have a good deal, then chances are that you do indeed have a good deal. Keep in mind, the dealers arent makeing thousands upon thousands on a single purchase.
Nissan employee prices are $100 over invoice + dealer prep fees. That means that if you buy that car for accual invoice or under, you are getting a better deal that I can get. And you know what? It really makes me sick when I see people haggeling for dollars a month, or hundreds of dollars on a price. If the car fits in your budget, if the car is perfect, YOU like the dealership and the service, and you have a good sales man; just buy the freakin car and stop killing your self over it, because it is not worth the trouble that your putting you and the dealer ships through. To sum it all up, the dealer ship has to make money too. Just like any other buisness. Put your self in their shoes for a day and you would see how it is. Like i said, if the price and payment work for you, and the car is right, just do it, and get on with your life, and start loving you new G35.

TOMCAT you said earlier that
So that means dealers ARE not offering MSRP prices to youm they are discounting. And though sales are slowly declining, the G35 and 350Z's are still VERY hot cars on the market and will not hit invoice sales any time soon.
Put it this way, if your getting any were near $1,000 off an '06, when dealers still have 05's AND were stil 3 months away from 2006, thats a good deal. If you want a great deal get a 2005, either way it's the same (money wise) save money now, lose it on re-sale (or if you really take care of it, not much of a difference). Or spend a little now, but gain on re-sale. Its six and half a dozen.
Dude, if you have been hageling for months now, you have to have some what of a good deal, other wise your just a wanna be buyer. SOme one who can't shoot the gun, can't make up their mind, just plain being cheap.
Girls shop for "Best deals" Guys do and get what they want when they want it, esspecially if its a sports car that they desire.

I will agree with some points, in all the car negotiations I have done I have yet to bring up hold back to the salesman, But if one of them decides to be an a-hole then Ill return the favor.

2) You dont know me so dont make comments about me being a wanna be buyer and fyi I only started calling dealers after the price was released two days ago. I will "shoot the gun" whenever i damn well please. I am not part of the majority who walk into a dealership and get taken for a ride.
3) If you are made of money, go around spending it however you may please. Dont give me that baloney about girls shop for best deals. I work hard for my money and if I want to shop around for a good deal then yes I will.

. A happy customer will be a returning customer, so your dealership can make tons of $$$ out of us.
