How much will i Be paying for 06 Coupe?
So how much do you guys think that i would be paying for a 06 Coupe? Will i be looking at sticker or not really? I'm in the So. Cali area too. I called up some dealers here and they said that i would be paying close to sticker until march/april that when they would be willing to neogiate prices. I'm like what thats BS. So i just told the guy to *** off. He also said that when the first g35 cam out at 03 they were selling it for sticker price for 2 yrs. I Just laugh when he said that i dont think that guy knows what hes talking bout watta *** lol. My bad for the story but yeah so im planning to purchase liek around Nov/Dec will i get a good deal liek around 1000 over invoice? Thanks ahead of time for the reply guys.

only way you know for sure, is going to dealership and talk to them, start with low price close to or at invoice and work you way up, but only to a point like 500 above invoice, if they dont agree with that price? just get up and walk out, now if they let you get into your car without drag you back in? then you know for sure they cant go with 500 above invoice right now, and just repeat it with few dealership, each time up the price a lil...just emember, you can alway say NO.
More improtanly than sale price is knowing the sale price that equivalent with the monthly payment that they will throw at you, for example, if they say 720/mos? what is the sale price of the car? you need to know what interest rate you can get, it play big part too, they might willing sell you a car at inovice, but they gonna charge you big time in finance charges, like when you finally haggle the price down to invoice, but the monthly payment they quoted you is 722/mo, but sale price of car is only at 34K, which is only 644/mo with 5% rate!

Unless you have vpp or a group buy or something you will not get anywhere near invoice for an 06 model. Expect to pay near sticker till march-april. Dont go in and ask for 500 over invoice on an 06 if you dont have a special situation ( like vpp or GB ), they wont even take you seriously. Id start with 4% off MSRP since thats about halfway between invoice and msrp.

I agree with others....the dealers have NO reason to heavily discount the 2006s as they'll have to live off these cars (and profits) for the next year.
Unless you have a great connection, it's going to be tough.
On the other hand, if you can live without the 2006, there are hella good deals to be had on new '05s...
I bought a LOADED 5AT Coupe 2 weeks ago, every option but the Aero Package, stickered at $39,400. I paid $35K even, which was $1000 BELOW dealer invoice. I think I got a 'good' deal, probably could have squeezed another $500 but the car I was looking at was the exact car I wanted color wise and had all the right options. Not worth wasting another week or so over $500 as the 2005 inventories are selling off quickly now that the 2006s are here.
The G35 Coupe is a hot car right now, so the downside is that you'll have to really work at it to negotiate a good deal. On a positive note, we'll gonna see great resell down the road!
Good Luck.
