I got the car at age 19, im almost 20 now. As far as too much car, i think you should definately not start with the G as a first car. I drove a big *** F150 extended cab for like 2 years b4 i got the G. A lot of power and "show off" factor for a young guy could be dangerous.

Side Note: In regards to my earlier statement, the G has such a tease factor, some b!tch in a Saturn tried to race me last night, WTF?

fast? haha you guys really crack me up in thinking that the G in stock form is a fast car. I'm mean yeah maybe if you're F/I'ed then you are a tad bit quicker. But a stock G IMHO isnt considered to be fast.

EXTREMELY powerful car for a beginning driver, you're odds will be very high to do stupid stuff teenagers do like crash going too fast, street race, and all of the things associated with having a powerful/fast car and still being too immature and inexperienced to handle that.

Well said!!!

Yeah, I also think this is funny. 16 yr olds getting $35k first car?!?!? Honestly, why settle? if your P's are willing to spend that kind of cash, then get M3. I'd like to see what you're going to be driving when your married, have kids, own a house, and have bills up the a$$, and you have to pay for your own car. Parents what can you possibly be thinking?

Spolied little brats who will never know how to work for anything in life b/c their parents gave them everything. Get it, we'll all know who you are since you can barely see over the dash.

We must have alot of 19+ teenagers around here then. There are adults with families admitting to street racing on this board, and some others that I frequent.

.
And you can't read. He said EXTREMELY powerful car for a beginning driver which as we all know is true. On a scale of all cars the G is not fast at all--I completely agree with you. However it is EXTREMELY powerful for a kid that has never driven an EXTREMELY SLOW car. Wow that was tough.

Suggestion, learn how to drive a cheaper car first ... it'll make driving the G that much more fun!

If you want something close in power, get a 02-03 Maxima ... same engine, 1/2 the price. You can get a decent used one for $14-18K.

Cheers!

New drivers can do some stupid things. 300HP and RWD aside (the car isn't that easy to get out of line), I just think it's too nice for your first car.

Suffer in something cheap until you learn all of the rules and make a few mistakes.

i think the G is a pretty powerfull car.... i mean, its no ferrari, buhh i've beaten 2evo's (from a roll) stock..... i think my G might be able to beat my dad 69 camaro from a roll! tha G is a beast wen driven to full potential... as for the in experienced driver, get it if u want just be safe, kno this car is going to be really expensive to mod! if u plan on doing things to ur car get something else you could make a car run 12's with 4 grand (turbo gsr sprayed)..... the G also has somthing called class, whats more important to u?
