is it worth it?

hey guys im looking to buy a 6spd 03-04 coupe
im pretty picky with the colour(white) but theres ONLY 1 for sale in the damn city as far as i know of(which is actually posted online)
its fully loaded with navi but it has 7x,xxx highway kms(around 46xxx miles)
ive been looking for so long now and getting irritated but at the same time i dont wanna screw myself over
i saw one for sale a month back, it was an 03 but didnt have navi which i probably wouldnt have minded for cheaper ($34,000 CAD OBO)
the 04 seller is asking $36K CAD which is kinda steep IMHO

34,000.00 CAD Canada Dollars = 29,348.91 USD

That is way 2 high....geez, I paid $35K for my new '05 Coupe 5AT just three months ago.

You should pass on that high mileage car and find a better deal...at $34K CAD the owner is making out like a bandit!

The same car cost more in Canada that the US. In Canada we pay more for everything.

My 04' 6MT cost me $47k CDN + 15% tax

If you convert that into USD and compare it to what others in the US have paid for the same car you will see that there is a big diff.

How about my insurance........$3000/yr (24 yrs. w/ perfect record)

It's not fair.

Hi Azn,

I live in Canada too (actually in Vancouver), however that price is too expensive. If the km's were lower, I think that would be a reasonable deal for sure; pending the vehicle was in immaculate condition too.

However searching the used market is limited, especially if your in a smaller city (not Toronto) and have specific needs for color, model etc.

Low km's G35's are selling for around that price - low 40's in Vancouver.

Be patient as the right vehicle will come along eventually...

Good luck!
