2006 6-MT coupe: what deals are you getting compared to MSRP/invoice?

I am currently in negotiations with a dealer regarding a new 2006 G35 6-MT coupe. I will be ordering it because I am very picky about what I want. My question is for anyone who has recently bought a new 2006--how was your price compared to MSRP/invoice. I'd like to go back to the dealer and be able to tell him that people on this forum are buying them for $500-1000 over invoice. Let me know how you all did. Thanks.

I got mine for 1000 under sticker but I paid my cousin a broker fee of 300 on the side. So came out to 700 under sticker. It was the best deal I could get at the time. I hate car salesmen and finance managers. My cousin is an autobroker so I tell him what I want, he tells me the price he gets it, I give him 300.

05 6MT DG Coupe w/ premium package and splash guards.

It really depends on where and when you buy the car that makes the difference in price.

jsh198,
yeah i hate dealers, esp northern cali dealers. The dealers have a very limited of 06 6mt's in stock, but they have A LOT of auto's so they were willing to negotiate on those. I just bought mine 2 wks ago. I paid too much. $1100 over invoice. DAMMIT. I got a prem/aero/navi...A lot of ppl on this forum got their 05's and some 06's for $300-$800 over invoice. Most are for auto's though, but a FEW were mt's. ANd i would say 90% of them were not in california...DO NOT pay more than what i paid. i think $750 over invoice for a 06 mt is reasonable in cali...i got slightly raped. blah. but cant wait till my car arrives.

$1100 over invoice is about $2278 under MSRP...for 06' 6mt w/ prem/navi/aero/trk-mat. PM me your email addie, i will send you an excel sheet i made. It list msrp/invoice and other stuff that might help you decide how much you're willing to shell out....also check out how much the 05's were selling for in the oct-dec months as oppose to the jan-march months. Good luck.

I know it's not a coupe but I bought an 06 sedan about 3 weeks ago. I paid 36,600 out the door (about 33,500 before fees/taxes). The MSRP was 36,210. I found the car online through a dealer's stock list and Ted at Scott Performance got me the pricing. All I had to do was show up at the dealer and give 'em a check. FYI, it's a 4 door auto with premium package and sport package and spalsh guards.
