I would ask them to do it for 25.5K and if they say no or give you another offer that's close to it bring down another 100.00

If they say no, telll them another dealer has a better offer for the same coupe even if it's in a different color with the same amount of miles.

It might or might not work... but it did for me, but I was actually making 2 dealers compete with each other phone on phone and one of them won

Actually the other one was so desperate they offered me a loaded Z with NAV and Borla exhaust with 22K miles for 22K EVEN! I went with the G however.

I got a black 04 coupe for 25k even. 25k miles as well... loaded without NAV.

seems a little steep to me. go to edmunds.com and price it for your area to see what the true market value is. try to aim for a little lower than that.

this must be the IP at Sandberg Cadillac. I would try and talk them down to 27K, but at 28,999 it's still a decent price for G's in the Seattle area. Plus, IP w/ black interior is tough to find.

Put it on a lift and check bottom side for any damage. Suggest doing a car history report as well to make sure no accidents have been reported as well.

Go to http://carbuyingtips.com/for more info.

Price sounds somewhat fair; however I would beware of possible hidden problems.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

That 2004 is a bit overpriced; looks like an Inifiniti dealer price. That 2004 is worth about 28k. The first one you mentioned would be worth between 25k to 27k at the highest...

The car you are looking at is exactly like my 04.5 IP with Graphite interior. I love the color of that interior....first because it doesn't show dirt like the willow (tan) and second because it is not available any more on the current IP's.

That price is understandable as their asking price but needs to come down a bit before you buy.

ya .. i love the look of the TAN interior . but maybe its better to get black for the long run. Can anyone comment on how they like their TAN leather???

I just don't know too much about these cars yet. I've been browsing posts on this board and 6mt for the past couple weeks trying to gain knowledge of this car.

Any other insites/issues to look for when i go down there would be most helpful guys.

I have IP W/ tan, dude, it looks dope and holds up nice also. My brother's G has black leather and its not any better then mine.

I recently purchased mine: 2004 IP, bose, 18", nav, 17k miles at $28k. And i got a Great deal. (at least i cali)

If you check used car values at www.kbb.com you can see what "retail value", "private party value", etc is. Its good to check that to know what range you're buying in.

Good luck, enjoy.

hey guys ....

SO i bought my G. I picked up the IP with graphite interior. I picked it up for 28K. A little expensive ...... but for cars in the seattle area it seems like a decent deal.

Im so stoked. its the 04 full load. I pick it up next week to import into canada. Can't wait !!!!!

Now I gotta figure out what minor engine/appearance mods I wanna start with. TIme to do some reading.
