What kind of taxes and fees are you SUPPOSED to have when buying a new car?

What kind of taxes and fees are you SUPPOSED to have when buying a new car?
I'll be finalizing my purchase of an 06 6MT coupe this weekend and I want to make sure I'm not getting screwed with addition/overpriced taxes and fees. The dealer wants (keep in mind I'm in Washington state): a B&O tax added to the price of the vehicle. Then they add the sales tax on that sub total (price of vehicle and B&O tax). Add on to that License = $225, and document fee = $35.
What is B&O tax, is it bogus, should I be paying it? Is $225 how much it costs to register/license a new vehicle in WA (any WA residents?)? and what's the document fee?
Are these all legit taxes and fees?
