Hello all. I'm an avid Flat4 guy. Reigning from Vegas. I'm currently running a stage 4 WRX with 301whp. I was wondering about how happy are you guys with your G35's? I'm thinking of getting my hands on one. I personally think it's time to "up my game" or "status" if you will. I am VERY impressed with the power numbers that govrt.com offers. That is definately that route I wanna go. Once I went boosted I don't think I'll ever go back.
So please tell me how you guys like your G35's. Pros and cons. Esepecially you boosted guys. I love the leather but I'll miss having 4 doors.(I don't like how the 4 door G35's look-sorry)

Hey Greg, welcome to the forums. I have never owned or drove a WRX but with 301whp you definately will feel a big decrease in power IMO, even though I have never drove a car faster than the G anyway. I LOVE my car but I have heard a lot of people say that if all you want is power then I wouldn't recommened the G as it isnt crazy fast, but it is the best value for your money for speed, looks, and handling IMO..and that is what sold me.

hey, i definitely understand where you're coming from. If you want you could even wait for the 07 sedan to come out if u didn't like this generations body, but if you dont like that then definitely either go for this generations coupe or wait for the next one. i agree with the last post saying our car is the best for the money with the style speed and handling. i dont have a coupe but i've driven them before and they're fun to drive. obviously if you're looking for strictly just speed you could get and sti or an evo since they're right around the price range of the g35, but you won't get the available features and looks of the g35. hope this helps

 

But on a serious note... like what raize said... your gonna think the car is slow compared to your STi. But with enough money that can be fixed. Over all the G's looks is sexy as hell... the power is there for everyday driving and then some. Handles are good but could be better with again more "money". We do have our lil bugs but can be easily fixed "warranty baby". Overall everyone (well i cant say everyone) but 90% of G owners love and respect their G... and you should too

 

I went from a WRX to the G35. I was thinking the same thing, I wanted a nicer car. You had to mod the WRX to get it to where it is now, expect the same with the G. It's fun, I turned into a Nismo *****.

 

Thanks for all the responses guys. My car's only a WRX not an STi. But with 301whp she'll smoke an STi. I actually sat in a 350 the other day but it's a bit tight for me and I need a back seat. Besides I just love how the G looks compared to the 350.
